Long before I became a professional travel writer, I was documenting my experiences through journals, newsletters, and photographs.

At seventeen, I spent two months in the Philippines on a mission trip, carefully recording each day’s experiences. Years later, a backpacking adventure through Italy inspired me to capture not only the places I visited but also the emotions, encounters, and unexpected discoveries that make travel meaningful.

As my marketing career evolved, travel became a regular part of my professional life. I coordinated corporate travel, organized international humanitarian projects, and later founded an international children’s nonprofit that arranged educational and service trips throughout the developing world.
