Tracy Ellen Beard is a married woman with two children. Her career path includes work as the senior marketing communication coordinator for a computer software company, development, and management of a literacy grant, employment as a marketing consultant and the founder and supervisor of an international children’s non-profit. These days Tracy thrives as a freelance writer.

Tracy operated the non-profit working with children in the United States to raise funds to provide children in Honduras, Mexico, Thailand, Peru, with uniforms and school supplies. Other projects included bestowing food and personal hygiene supplies for children and the final project resulted in the construction of a school building for 350 children living in the bush in Zambia, Africa.

Tracy’s passion is travel. Spending time in Mexico, Canada, Thailand, Hong Kong, China, Honduras, Peru, Zambia, Several Caribbean islands, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Switzerland as well as all over the United States, she has stories to tell about crazy adventures and the interesting people she has encountered. When Tracy is not writing or traveling she is participating in zany adventures, eating and cooking gourmet food, reading, hiking, backpacking, snow skiing, cross country skiing, snowshoeing or enjoying her family and friends.
